印地安人老闆杜藍（Paul Dolan）也成光頭佬了！昨日賽前，杜藍於休息室接受游擊手阿維列斯「操刀」，展現自己和旗下球員都是一家人的精神，跟其他隊員一樣剃了個光頭，來表達他們力挺阿維列斯的4歲女兒安卓雅娜對抗白血病。
阿維列斯的4歲女兒安卓雅娜上月初被診斷罹患白血病，陸續的，包括精神領袖史威瑟等印地安人隊員開始互相將頭髮剃光代表與阿維列斯同心，昨日輪到球團大老闆杜藍跟進，在主場對壘金鶯的賽前讓阿維列斯出手。
杜藍對著阿維列斯說：「我今天早上可是騎了36哩的腳踏車來到球場，我不騙你，我也要理光頭！」溫英文童書網馨伴隨著笑聲瀰漫在剃髮時光裡，印地安人全隊更加齊心了。
「從我頭上跑出來的是什麼東西啊？那是我的耳朵嗎？」因為從來就沒有看過自己光頭的樣子，這模樣讓杜藍自己都覺得兩片耳朵顯得很突兀。
對於全隊上下的熱血相挺，阿維列斯超悸動：「毫無疑問，對我而言這意義重大！每個人都有自己的家庭，而我面臨了生命很煎熬的時刻，還好球隊、教練團、所有人都與我家、女兒站在同一陣線，這對我幫助很大，也讓我感覺好很多。」昨役阿維列斯擔任先發第9棒游擊手，4打數1安打，印地安人3比7不敵陳偉殷所效力的金鶯隊。
相對於金鶯而言，除了打勝仗之外，很大的收穫是傷癒歸隊的鐵捕韋特斯（去年因右手肘韌帶置換手術整季報銷）發揮重炮本色。他5打數敲出2安打包含9局上轟出歸隊後的第1發全壘打，加上因支氣管炎休養1個月的主力投手諾瑞斯重返輪值投5局只失1分，取得最近4戰的第3勝。
不過金鶯目前戰績26勝30敗在美聯東區墊底，陳偉殷表排台灣時間6月11日上午7點巴爾的摩主場對紅襪，爭取本季第2勝。
